Tracing

Tracing of tanks and pipelines

With tracing, we mean electrically controlling the temperature of pipelines and tanks. We distinguish tracing of tanks and tracing of pipelines.

Tracing can be done by placing concurrent pipelines or by a heating spiral inside of a tank. Through these concurrent pipelines or this heating spiral, there is a flow of hot water, thermal oil or steam.

Why apply tracing?

By applying tracing, the temperature of products can be easily controlled. With tracing, the energy loss is compensated, so products will remain liquid. This way, we prevent the liquid from solidifying or crystallising.
