Tracing of tanks and pipes

Electrically maintain temperature

Tracing usually refers to electrically maintaining the temperature of pipes and tanks. We distinguish between tank tracing and pipe tracing. Tracing can also be applied using parallel pipes or a heating coil within the tank. Hot water, thermal oil, or steam then flows through this parallel pipe/heating coil.

Why use tracing?

Tracing allows the temperature of the products to be maintained. Tracing compensates for energy loss, keeping the products above their melting point. This prevents solidification or crystallization.

The benefits of tracing in brief

Tracing offers the following advantages:

  • The temperature can be accurately controlled, preventing products from solidifying or crystallizing.
  • Pipes and tanks can be protected from freezing even when not in use.
